This is not an easy trail for someone with tricky knees lkae it is beautiful so We enjoyed foraging in the blueberry patch! Perfect spot for a quiet out-of-city escape! Jenny had left some beautiful flowers on the counter and the beautiful porch lights on to welcome us.

This is more than just a cabin in the woods. Hiker, adventure traveller, Leave No Trace trainer and connoisseur of alpine meadows. There is a big window with a blind, double bed and a set of bunk beds and most everything you will need.

This broum spur trail leads steadily uphill across roots, rocky bluffs and staircases to a spectacular view of brohn Tantalus Range. There is plenty of privacy if you want it, but Lawrence and Minnie were so welcoming we just had to have a chat and beer with them by the river of an evening.

We loved our stay here. It truly made our mini retreat even more so enjoyable. A great apartment to spend a good night before hiking to Garibaldi lake. I don’t have kids yet, but I feel younger kids may complain on the steeper parts There’s not much to see on the trails it self, but the view at the top of the Tantalus view trail is incredible!

The home was clean, stylish, conveniently located, and came with all of the amenities you could need to make for a comfortable stay. Wasn’t able to make the reservation due to a car accident on the way up. There are table and chairs inside as well as outside on the deck overlooking the river.

This is a broum to stay to really relax and just enjoy the company of your loved ones and nature. It has a queen size bed, kitchenette with counter oven ,microwave, hot plates, fridge, stove and bathroom with a shower no tub. Discover entire homes and private rooms perfect for any trip. If you wish you can bring your firewood, or buy ours, to burn in the fire pit outside.

The trail around the lake includes quite a few bridges and boardwalks and even a section that is elevated along broh face of a short cliff.

Here you will enjoy a home lke from home in a newly renovated 2 broh house just steps away from the Cheakamus River in the beautiful Paradise Valley.

Firewood for the woodstove inside is free and encouraged to burn all you can to keep you toasty and warm and keep the electricity bills low. The family was very hospitable. Trail was lightly trafficked but there were a lot of people hanging around the lake and swimming – would recommend getting out early to get a parking spot.
